Vicky's full name is mentioned as Victoria Titania Pollard in the series two script book and Victoria Henrietta Pollard in the series three script book. Various web sites suggest that the character played by Matt Lucas was originally going to be called Vicky Collier; the official source of this claim cannot be defined, although a sketch in episode eight from series one episode showed an encounter with a teacher called Mr Collier, who invites Vicky back to the school to answer questions. Mr Collier was played by David Walliams.
Vicky Pollard was born in 1989 in Bristol or 'Brissle' as it is known locally. She left school at 11 with six ASBOs to her name. Fast talking and easily agitated, Vicky Pollard is the mother of at least 12 children.
Vicky's television credits include Crimewatch (a record breaking 27 appearances), South West Today (taking part in an item on happy slapping) and various CCTV Cameras around the Bristol area.
Vicky's first stage appearance was the time she went to a Liberty X concert at the Bristol Hippodrome and got up on stage and gave Jessica a slap for "giving her evils".
Vicky Pollard is the very first character that we meet in the Little Britain TV show. She is in danger of being failed for not handing a project in on time. She responds simply by talking nonsense to her teacher.
In the Christmas special, Little Britain Abroad, Vicky Pollard is caught in Thailand trying to smuggle 10 kg of heroin and is sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The US TV network that broadcasted Little Britain USA, HBO described Vicky Pollard as "a rambunctious teen from Bristol who has been sent to the Wilderness Lodge Boot Camp in Utah, a juvenile detention centre, after an unfortunate incident during her visit to Disney World." In one Little Britain USA Vicky Pollard sketch she jumps off the chapel roof and becomes hospitalised and can only communicate via a computer through blinking.
