Marjorie Dawes was born in 1960 in Guildford.
She is keen on amateur dramatics and after failing a number of auditions for her local group set up on her own 'Royal Marjorie Theatre Company' where she put on one woman versions of Eastenders, Cats and Gladiator.
She has made numerous television appearances over the years, in the audience of The Wright Stuff, shouting at a fat woman on Trisha and once calling This Morning to tell Judy Finnegan if she wanted to hold onto Richard Madeley she should steer clear of Brian Turner’s Tiramisu.
Marjorie divorced her husband Melvyn in 1997, with whom she had handsome son George with. George is rumoured to be buddies with celebrity funny men Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.
The US TV network that broadcasted Little Britain USA, HBO described Marjorie as "a popular weight-loss instructor from Great Britain who has come to the United States to dispense advice to fellow FatFighters". In one Little Britain USA Marjorie sketch Marjorie suggests eating ice cubes instead of ice cream and confiscates a birthday cake then proceeds to eat it.
