Little Britain fancy dress costumes are licensed and made for the costume outfit Smiffys of Gainsborough. Smiffys have owned the license to distribute the popular line of Little Britain costumes, Little Britain wigs and Little Britain accessories in the UK since Spring 2005 and the costume lines have been available for purchase since 2006.

In early 2009 two of the most popular Little Britain characters were withdrawn from sale. The Emily Howard costume and the Florence Rose Little Britain fancy dress costume were both discontinued by Smiffys.
